Friday 11/8 CDG to B train express ~45min to Saint Michel Notre Dame stop. Exit at the dead center of Paris. 0 arrondissement I think. Hotel was 10min walk away but wandered the area a little bit. Not too much w my bag still in hand. Twas 10am Friday morning hours. Got to Villa Pantheon and bought a room pre-check-in and took a long lovely nap. Woke, showered in like warm weak shower. Walked all around the Pantheon and Place du Pantheon. University there so vibrant area. Saw the Eiffel Tower in the distance lit up and like a Xmas tree and flashing Also Sorbonne University. Jardin du Luxembourg and Palace du Luxembourg. Odeon theatre. Eclipse Saint Sulpice. Saint Germain area. Saint Chapelle and all around Notre Dame. Saint Michel area, Saint Severin church. Musee de Cluny. Penne chicken peas cheese dish w a manhattan at Cafe le Quartier General... a corner cafe/restaurant in Saint Michel area. Sat by the window and watched the Friday night hussle bussle while jotting these notes.
