Landed Wednesday 2pm, long flight, over 24 hours traveling in total!
Found our way to the hotel easily enough, room was OK, bed leaves some to be desired! Like sleeping on a sheet of plywood with a square of duvet for a pillow!
Rooftop pool makes up for it - the tranquillity was welcomed after a long, tiring day! Late night, bed at around 2am - Thought we had slept pretty well on the plane and at Beijing airport... Turns out that wasn't the case; we ended up sleeping till 4pm on Thursday - Oops!
