I would highly recommending checking out Shaxi too!!!! It's between Dali and Lijiang and connected only by bus or private transport (no high speed rail which is the beauty of it!).

If you're visiting Lijiang Old Town, make sure to check out the Zhongyi Market, their local night market. By day, it's just a parking area, but by night, it transforms into a vibrant night market full of life.
From Lijiang there are day tours to Lugu Lake, Shangrila (Tiger Leaping Gorge), Jade dragon mountain, blue lake, shanxi ancient town, Bashir ancient town,etc.
In addition to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong you can also see a view in the Blue Moon Valley
There is a public bus 101 from LiJiang City to the YuLong Snowy mountain. Then you need to buy the entrance fee of RMB 100 and also a bus ticket to the blue moon lake
This Xilu hotel is located in South gate of Lijiang old town. The manager is good at Eng. They help their guests to buy the ticket for snow mountain and can arrange car for their guests too. You can add their Wechat from their phone number in case you need any help.

Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Spot, China
Go with car all the way up to Halfway Guesthouse. I had a very early lunch there and hiked from there to the end at Tina’s Guesthouse. The 2nd half of the full trail is the most beautiful part and takes up to 4 hours.
