Arrive at 12:30pm on June 11th
Dar Gara booked. Paid part in advance - Arron paid for this via cash (978 durhams)
June 13: Tangier - Chefchaoeun (2hrs 4m kms drive)
Best way to get there is via bus
- Fly into Tangier (do a day trip to Asilah-cool, artsy coastal town). When you go back up to tangier (checkout Hercules caves!!)
- Then head over to Chefchaoeun (my favorite honestly). Before you get there, stop by Akchour falls for a beautiful hike and swim!!
- Head over to Fes. You can take a bus from Chefchaoeun to Fes $20 usd. Stay in the old Medina in fes. Always stay in the Medinas, not the new parts of the cities.
- From Fes, book a 3 day Sahara/Camel adventure that drops you off in Marrakech. During this trip, not only will you be able to ride a camel, see the sand dunes, and stay in a luxury desert tent, you will pass through the Atlas Mountains, many tiny Berber villages, gorges Dades river, and also see their Film studios (Hollywood of Morocco) as well as the ancient Berber village Ait Ben Haddou where they filmed gladiator and game of thrones. I paid $270 and I say it was worth it!
- Explore Marrakech for two days (the museums are cool). Marrakech, the square, the streets were chaotic compared to Chefchaoeun so I would only stay 2 days honestly.

Chefchaouen, Morocco
Sat 15 June: Chefchaoeun - Fes takes 4 hours 15 mins via bus.
